Also make sure your pot is big enough. More root space = bigger plants and more peppers. Give it an extra scoop of compost now and then to keep it happy.

Where the jalapenos will be placed they will get sun all day long

Jalapenos can do well in containers. Just be sure they get plenty of sun/light. I use the small tomato cages to stake my peppers.

I have. It was outside for the summer in a pot and did fine. I moved it inside under a grow light for the winter. We'll see what it does now.

I've done it. It works if you fertilize enough. The main thing is giving the plant enough warmth and sun. I stake them when they get bigger.
