Hi there..from another new member, with a small garden, from a small town.
I didnt think about counting gardening time on my fitness counter. In the spring and summer, I have my special garden time every mornig before I go to the office. Makes me feel good about life. It probably does make me more healthy.
Yes, risk taking is inherently failure-prone. Otherwise, it would be called sure-thing-taking.
The exercise always makes working in the garden a valuable part of my day. I never fail to count my garden time in the fitness calculator. It's not my biggest burner but out usually feels like a strength workout.
New to the team...Gardening is one of my hobbies...i have fruit trees...grow herbs...like chives..marjoram..thyme..tomatoes..Also cassava sweet potatoes...i love to plant...watch them grow lol...And very delighted to reap!!!!
Stand up for high principles, even if you have to stand alone. To win, you've got to stay in the game.
Hi welcome to the team. I like to try one or two new things each year, I sometimes get the ideas from talking with other gardeners or by seeing things in recipes I have looked up. I also find new varieties of various things like tomatoes and peppers by browsing through seed catalogs.

Spring is here and I couldn't be more excited, getting the garden ready this weekend! I live in a small town (4900 pop). Have a smallish backyard garden and 6 chickens but I'm able to can some green beans, put up green tomato relish, freeze peppers, squash & okra and have lots to eat and some to give away. Would love to have an acre to plant and probably need the exercise tending it. Back to eating healthy and exercise routine is my goal. Love trying new plant suggestions - if you have a fav please let me know
