Welcome Laura and Andi! I live in the suburbs, so have a small garden. Our city is allowing a limited number of permits to raise chickens and it's been a success. They are supposed to allow more permits this year and I'm hoping to get one. Organic eggs would be great.
Remember, nobody can go back to the very beginning and make a brand new start, but anyone can start here and make a brand new end.
There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results."
Oh OK. I'm thinking about this big ole house with smoking coming out. I have a smoker thingy attached to my gas/charcoal grill out back. I like to put turkey legs in there - well, I used to. I like putting Red Snapper in there a lot.
Hi! I'm new to this team, but have been eating a MOSTLY organic diet for a few years now. I haven't been able to have a garden for a number of years, but I used to LOVE doing this. This spring we will be building our own house on our own property, so my goal is to have a great garden in place for this year. I also want a greenhouse. I have big plans also for keeping chickens (I have done this before), making a solar food dehydrater, a smoke house.... hmmm... and other cool stuff. ANyhow! Glad to be here!
PS. Read my BLOG about CLEAN EATING. This is my MAIN motivation for going organic.
