Welcome Stacey! I sometimes have problems with binge eating too. The SP plan- or any plan where you dont restrict cals too much- can help with that because you dont have to cut anything out! You can eat sweets or whatever but in moderation and as long as you can fit into your goals for the day! I find that when I try to cut something that I love- like pizza- completely out of my diet, I will be more likely to binge on it. :-P I still do binge sometimes but as I educate myself about the proper nutrition, I am getting better :) Good luck!
