Thanks to Lady Mary for the invite!
My name is Jenn. I went into acute renal failure when I was 19 years old. My nephro thought it was from NSAIDS/medication that directly metabolizes in the kidneys. The acute renal failure has reversed, however, I now have the diagnosis of stage 3 chronic kidney disease. For the most part, it is controlled. I recently had surgery, so before surgery it was 0.80. After it went up to 1.0.
Anyways, I struggle with a few different health problems, including diabetes, Hypertension, stage 3 kidney disease, benign essential tremors...
I started my healthy lifestyle change the day after I had surgery. My blood sugars went all over the place and it really scared me. So everyday is a day for me to continue saving my life. :)
I'm so glad to have found this group and am looking forward to giving/getting support and also reading lots of articles! :)
