Welcome and I have to say congrats on your weight loss so far. That's awesome that your work and your family have done things to encourage losing weight and getting healthy. I wish I had the magical answer to help you with your loss of motivation, but unfortunately I don't. I can tell you that you are not alone. I do notice one pattern in your weight loss so far. You had a goal/challenge to strive for and sounds like you worked really hard to achieve your goals since you won 1st and 3rd. How about finding another challenge to strive for? Do you have a close friend or family member that you could work out with and keep one another going? Maybe make your next goal to run a 5K and do the Couch to 5K (C25K) training. Sign up now for a race later this summer and make it your goal to run the entire thing! Or is there some physical activity you've always wanted to do/try and you're not in the physical condition yet to do it? Make that your challenge and strive to reach that. Are there physical activities that you and your daughter could do together? Do you like outdoor things? Try making it a goal to go hiking, biking, canoeing, etc. with your daughter and family. The one thing I love about summer time for losing weight is being able to be outdoors more and be much more active. And I crave all the fresh fruits and veggies in the summertime which leads me to eat much healthier. Since you started your weight loss in January and we're getting into the warm months now, it's a great time to explore healthy, fresh summer foods and lots of new activities the keep you active. Good luck!

Hello. My name is Andraya' and I am new to Sparks. I am excited about joining this new and invigorating experience. I started loosing weight in January and to date I have lost about 13 pounds. I won the biggest loosers challenge that we had and work and I came in 3rd place with the challenge in my family. It seems lately that I have lost all motivation to loose this weight. I still need to loose at least 35 pounds to get down to a healthy weight. I have tried all I know how to motivate myself to continue on this path, but to no avail. I am hoping that through this community I wil regain that motivation that I lost and go ahead and loose the weight and also learn how to live a healthy lifestyle. I am determind to have a positive effect on my 5 year old daughter.
