Hello! I am the mother of four boys. I work as a cardiac nurse one night a week, and spend the rest of my time raising my active family. My husband was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure and cholesterol, and has a high risk for diabetes. I researched what I could do to help, as he is only 34. I knew the answer couldn't just be medicine. I read the China Study by T. Colin Campbell, and discoverved I could reverse his conditions by eating a whole foods plant based diet. So, now my dialy challenge is to make healthy meals that my kids will actually eat. We are Seventh Day Adventists, so I already know how to cook vegetarian, but lets face it, who doesn't love cheese! I look forward to getting to know others who are making these diet changes, and learning as much as I can to make my family healthy and happy!
