Hello my name is Melissa and so far this website seems like a great way to make myself accountable and also meet fellow friends who are also trying to lose weight to get healthy. My biggest struggle this winter has been to get motivated to do something about my recent 40 pound weight gain shortly starting after my dream wedding in October. I know that my Vitamin D and B-12 are dangerously low and the doctors are taking care of that part but there is no reason why I should have gained the weight that I did, but it's also a wake up call for me. I have always been athletic, but my body is changing a long with my age. I would love to have new friends to keep me motivated and share great ideas with me!! I am a great motivator as well, and love all of this positive energy on this website.
One more very important question I have for all of you who have stayed motivated (unlike me): How did you initially get started? What did you do that helped you stay motivated and not use all of the easy excuses like most of us do.... for starters- "I'm too tired!!" I am the too tired girl but the reality and truth is... I am soo tired. So any advice would brighten my day and maybe make this a little easier!!
