Hi all,

So nice to find a website dedicated to parents and children about healthy living and lifestyle changes. My DD joined Sparkteens the same time me and my husband joined Sparkpeople (Um, I think that was just Sunday :))

All the content and tools have been so helpful already. I'm loving the nutrition tracker because one of my biggest challenges is figuring out what to fix for meals.

I'm looking forward to cruising this forum and hopefully will have my sister join me before long. She is a registered nurse and is working on a paper discussing childhood obesity. I bet she can get a lot of help here!

We all struggle with our weight. I'd say my dd & dh are both in better shape than I am so this time, I'm not only making a change with my eating but with my exercise. Have always hated exercise, but for the last month, I have done something to move nearly everyday. I can feel a difference.
