Zen, I feel a instant connection, perhaps in your wit, your relationship with your family and with food. Words are very powerful. I notice you say some less than kind things to yourself, even jokingly. I also see how you adore your children and the people that are coming into your life through them. Funny that we see all of them but no image of you only blue. I feel your strength, love and quest for peace. I know you will find it. Maybe the beautiful mother you miss so much will help you.
You must be the change you want to see in the world. - Mahatma Gandhi
The only angels we need invoke are those of our better nature: reason, honesty, and love. The only demons we must fear are those that lurk inside every human mind: ignorance, hatred, greed, and faith, which is surely the devil's masterpiece.-Sam Harris
Namaste is an Indian greeting meaning exactly what Zen mentioned. We join both our hands with palms pressed together, in front of our heart which is considered a seat for divinity and greet with a bow and say Namaste. You can see the photo on my page or in my profile image. Buddhism's history dates back to India where Buddha was born and found Nirvana under the Bodhi tree. I am happy to note Buddhists use this to greet each other with. Thanks for letting us know.
This website gives various meanings of the word and how to pronounce it if anyone is interested.
