I went out to dinner last night at a friends house.
They have bought a new home so celebrating their moving in. As we were eating,Thanks to this post you now have made me mindful of eating. I eat mindfully naturally and enjoy every mouthful and appreciate it. I also eat slowly. I realized that especially last night when I was enjoying my meal someone noticed and made the comment that I didn't have to eat it all if I wasn't enjoying it. Because I was taking longer than everyone else. I felt kind of embarrased. If only they new. If only I new what I know now. Now that you have posted this. I feel ok. Thanks.

#3 EAT MINDFULLY: I need to eat slowly and mindfully while sitting down- EVERY SINGLE TIME. (from the response cards in "the BECK DIET solution", weight loss workbook)

This is a challenge for me, staying focused while eating. I might start out that way but soon I look down at my plate, and it's empty.
