I am a woman in my mid 40's, gaining weight inspite of trying to be healthy and exercising. I'm sure it's pre-menopausal issues, already had my thyroid checked so I can't blame that. For 30 years I have been maintaining a pretty healthy lifestyle, always tried to exercise, started walking at least 5km a day back in the 90's, turned to jogging off and on since then as well.. but in the last 5 years I have noticed my weight going up no matter what. I am currently 20 lbs heavier than normal, Even with the exercising and summer jogging in the last year, my weight has gone up 10 lbs, and my measurements are 1 " + in each area. Today I am going to start counting the calories, and hope that is what I should be watching more than just making sure i eat properly. I am beyond frustrated. Last year at 135lb. I was disappointed.. I would very much like to be that right now! :)
