Hello and welcome to SparkPeople! This is really a fantastic website, I had great luck on it a couple of years ago before having my last child and am back for another go.
From strictly a weight-loss perspective, I have found that exercise actually does very little to help me shed the pounds. For me it's all about watching my calories and getting enough protein. Just thought I would throw that out there so you don't beat yourself up too much about not exercising :)

I was about to order some Chinese food, when I somehow came to this site and joined it instead. How do I tell the site I need some bonus SparkPoints for that?
This seems pretty cool, and I hope it helps. I've been trying to change my eating habits for a while now and I always end up cheating. A support group my be just what I need.
I wasn't always a large guy. I was quite happy with my body 3 years ago. Then I started working a sedentary job. Didn't exercise outside of it. And to make matters worse, I got a boyfriend who could eat whatever he wanted and was skinny as a post. Actually if he didn't eat enough, he would get too thin. We lived together for 2 years, and so it was a constant battle.
However, we broke up and I am now able to concentrate on myself.
I'm pretty fine during the day. I think that's typical. But as soon as evening hits, all I can think about is what kind of delivery food I want. It really is a struggle to break that habit.
So anyway... here it goes with this site and cheers to changing my life!
