Welcome. You will find a lot of support for your journey here. Many different skill levels and we all learn something.
Bev, the snow is Gandolf. It was pretty nasty here. I got 20 inches of snow a week ago. Still digging out in some ways as it was very cold after the snow.

Hello back, from California. I just joined this team myself. I'm Cathy, 61 years old and single, which leaves me plenty of time to quilt. We have two large guilds here in town and I've learned so much from other quilters. I've also been impressed with how much info is out there on the internet, including some really wonderful youtube videos.
Greetings and welcome from a northwest Florida girl! Carol

Hi! I am retired, 2 kids, 2 grandkids, 2 dogs, 2 cats. In SW Missouri.
I love to quilt - have at least a dozen pinned to my walls right now - But only 3 of them are finished - and one finished on my bed. I am making one for my grandson that just needs quilting - and 3 blocks of a cat quilt started for my granddaughter. It is in fabrics that look like cats we have loved over the years.
There are a lot of steps to get done...
My hubs is very supportive. When I complain about the price of fabric, he just says "Get it if you want it."
Dance like no one is looking.
Love like you've never been hurt.

Hi everyone! My name is Annette and I live in West Palm Beach, Florida. I am new to quilting. I tried to get into it a few years ago and started a quilt but I had no idea how many resources were out there and gave up. I am back into it in full mode and have actually just completed my first table topper (yay me!).
1. I not only love quilting, but crochet, knitting, sewing, working with clay and a bunch of other crafts!!
2. I learned at 35 years old that I was adopted. (I'm 37 now)
3. I am a type 2 diabetic not currently on meds (I know, I know)
4. My fiance' and I (11 years together) are 13 years apart (Men definitely mature much slower)
5. I have two wonderful daughters, teen and pre-teen, that I love more than anything in the world!
