Welcome to the team! SP is a great place and I hope you will find it helpful.
Hi Janet, welcome to the Lab Lovers team. We are so happy to have you join us and certainly welcome both you and your precious Sugar Bear. I had a yellow lab named Honeybear that I lost to cancer at age 14. I still miss her but I now have a rescued Jack Russell, Zoey who I love very much.
Looking forward to seeing more pictures of Sugar Bear!!!!
My hubby and I have just celebrated our 51th wedding anniversary, can't believe we've been married that long! We have 2 children and 4 grandchildren and live in Tallahassee, Florida.

Have a wonderful rescue named Zoey!
Hi my name is Janet. My co-worker and I have a deal to lose weight by our Christmas Party. And our other co-worker found out about it and introduced us to Spark. I have 50+ pounds to lose, so I don't think I will hit my goal weight by Christmas but I hope to make a dent in my weight loss journey. I am really enjoying this website and I just started reading the book. The thing I enjoy most in my life is doing things with my baby puppy girl Sugar Bear. She is a Yellow Labrador Retriever and full of energy, always wants to play, go for a walk, or go to the dog park. I want to be able to have a more active lifestyle and go do outside activities with her such as hiking, camping, and biking. I live in San Diego county, it's beautiful weather here all the time. I want to enjoy that weather. I need to lose weight to be able to do both things. I have started my journey and I plan to finish it and this time I plan to keep it off. I love the resources that SparkPeople have to offer, they are really helping me on my journey. It adds a little fun to all the boring and repetitiveness of weight loss. I hope to make new friends here and become part of a supportive community.
You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, whose thoughts are fixed on you!
Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring - it was peace.
If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you; that is the principal difference between a dog and a man.
