Caren, my yellow lab never did learn "heel" very well. She did good enough to pass her obedience class but then reverted to her old ways!!!!

I've tried a game I call "cheese tree". If she pulls, I stop & act like a tree, when she turns back to me, I give her a bit of cheese. Today we went to the farmers' market. Wow! she was bad. It was rather embarrassing. People looked at us when she was dragging me forward, and I'm hanging on for dear life. We really have to get this worked out!

Welcome Caren to the Lab Lovers Team, we are glad to have you join us. Do you have pictures posted of your pups??? My yellow lab was a challenge just to get her leash trained, I never tried to do games but hopefully some of the other members can help you out!!!

I'm Caren, my yellow lab mix, Jersey will be 1 on Sept 1. We don't know what the mix is. She just doesn't look purebred.

Jersey loves to play fetch. She's easily distracted on leash walks. Any ideas for games we can play while walking on a leash?
