Hi, I'm Sandi from Fl. and I just realized that this team exists. I just had to put my 14y/o yellow lab down due to cancer (on Dec.28th). I still miss her so much and right now don't have a dog but I love hearing about everyone elses pups. I had a golden lab before Honeybear, my yellow. Those are the only two but my heart is with any lab, just love them. Thanks for letting me join!

to Sparkpeople and to the Lab Lovers team. I am the mom to a beautiful 11 year old Choc, named Miss Taylor. Labs are incredible dogs that will steal your heart!

I just found this team and I'm so happy. I've had dogs all my life, mainly Great Danes and German Shepherds, but I've downsized dog-wise and now I have two labs and a pound puppy who thinks he's a black lab. The summer of 2007 my last dane passed from bloat, and my elderly shepherd was going lame with arthritis in all four knees, I decided to get a lab pup for my then 19 year old son. That was Cocoa, the chocolate, and within two weeks we added Nash, the pound puppy because some stranger told me it was easier to raise two lab pups together than one alone. A few months ago we added Sophie who's now 6 months, the yellow lab. They are all amazing!
