Well I've sort of answered this, we have 3 mini-dachchunds 6. Hobbies, interests. Far too many, needlepoint, sewing, embroidery, gardening, canning, photography, gaming and more recently hiking 7. We are bad enough cooking when what sounds good will take too long to prepare for the enjoyment at the end. We're working toward a cook once eat twice thing for at least some meals so we have some good, from scratch cooking ready to go (with a bit of thawing) for those times we lack inspiration or motivation. 10. Anything else you want us to know about you? I'm not a fan of low fat, non fat, or sugar free anything. For all the benefit of things like this for the short term, the more I read and find negative impacts for the long term. I'm dragging my husband (kicking and screaming if necessary) back to the kitchen of our parents' days where food was made from scratch and didn't include things that are sold as food and are actually a bunch of processed chemicals (think cheese food, what is that really?) Despite us both working, we're getting there slowly though a few things will linger until I can sort out how to properly make them with our schedules.

I love your quote, and adopt it as my own. Less moaning, , more pushing the envelope of what I can do. I recently fractured a disc in my back, and am still in major pain when I stand or walk or pick things up.I rely on Schwans foods for meals, and Omaha steaks, Mackensy seafood, and other online places for "reward" meals. I'm thinking lobster tail for dinner today.

I usually end up cooking a lot more than needed and I'm not a huge fan of eating the same thing over and over. I think this will help me figure out what portions I need to cook for myself. Hello, everyone! I'm Rachel, new to SP, and excited to be part of the team. My boyfriend and I tend to go overboard on eating everything we've cooked, so I'm trying to eliminate that option by making smaller meals.

So, I'm not single but I pay taxes like it! 4. Kids: Nope. 5. Animals: 1 permanent German Shepherd/Chessie mix, and various rotating foster dogs for rescue orgs 6. I have celiac disease, which makes putting lunches together a nightmare. Any ideas here would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Team!
1. Location (State): Kansas (of the Jayhawk side...) 2. Is this where you are from? Yes, but I am debating a move or a travel assignment type job 3. Married, single, etc.: Married (but my husband is gone Sun-Thurs for a travel job) 4. Kids ? (have any): none 5. Animals ? (have any): 1 loveable Border Collie and 1 fuzzy black cat 6. Hobbies, interests: Reading, Biking, Outdoorsy activities 7. How long a member of spark?: Technically two years, but only stayed online for like 2 months; Restarted my membership back in august. 8. How many are you cooking for?: Sun-Thurs - me Fri-Sat -2 (my husband comes home!) 9. How can the team help in supporting and aiding you in meeting your goals?: I just need some awesome simple recipies. I have about four low calorie recipes which I probably why I struggle with my weight. I need some fresh yummy new ideas. 10. Anything else you want us to know about you?: I am hoping to loose a total of 25 lbs. My plan is to eat around 1500 calories a day and move for about 1 hour. I have been biking to work the past month. Generally I eat about 300 calories for breakfast and lunch and then 400-500 for my dinner (I like to feel good and full) and then a couple hundred left for snacks in the evening. My favorite snacks are a piece of dove dark chocolate (40 calories) or an english muffin with small amount nutella (170 calories). My favorite kind of meals are those that are full of veggies. I'm not a vegetarian but I'm just not nuts about meat. I love peanut butter and tofu.

I'm an Army brat, born in Oklahoma, spent a lot of time in Virginia but the parents were from Idaho so this is where we moved to when Dad retired (after 25 years). Hi there... 1. Location: West Michigan 2. Is this where I am from? Well, I have lived in Michigan my whole life. I grew up in Mid- Michigan. 3. Married, single, etc. -Married for 5 years 4. Kids ? (have any) - No children, but I do want to have children. 5. Animals ? (have any) - we have a kitten, Rincon, a cat, Ally, and a black lab mix Juno 6. Hobbies, interests - Reading, playing with my nieces and nephews, working for justice issues for the LGBT community 7. How long a member of spark? - 3 days! 8. How many are you cooking for? - Two 9.
