my sister walks 15,000 steps a day at 63 years old and has lost 105 pounds. she went from a size 24 to a size 10. all her health issues dropped off as the 105 pounds dropped off.

i gave up grain and sugary products and have lost 44 pounds at age 60. i went from a size 18 to a size 10 shorts and medium tops from a 1 or 2x.

we are both still loosing weight until we reach our goal

Thank you. There's still a good bit of soreness but it's a lot better than it was.

The break itself wasn't the big issue. I broke the biggest bone in the center of my wrist clean through. But the big joint in the wrist under the thumb area was dislocated. It was sitting on top of my wrist. The plates and screws are to keep it from dislocating again. This caused partial numbness in the thumb and the fleshy area between thumb and wrist, so it was a struggle. But I'm back 90% to normal use now, so it's all good.

Welcome to the team. We are here to help you. I am sorry to hear that you broke your wrist. It sounds like you had a hard with having to have a plate and screws put in.

I'm a 56 year old woman that has about 60 or so pounds to lose but losing weight for me is extremely slow, so can use all the added support I can get. I'm just getting back into regular exercise after the all clear from breaking my wrist 6 weeks ago and having to get 3 plates and 8 screws in it. Still have to do the PT on it, but I can go full speed with what I need to do to get my weight down.
