All of you runners are amazing to me! I am doing well just to walk 1/2 mile in the mornings! LOL I use to walk (fast) 3 miles in the morning and 3 miles at night but that was a long time ago! My ankles start burning after 1/2 mile now.
Movement is important, One good thing is if you are very heavy a little bit does a lot, when I started I was moving around an extra 150 pounds
for the last year I have not been motivated, would start, fall off, start, fall off, I am starting again today :) Had a nice low fat omelet for breakfast and will go to the mall around noon and take a walk

One size does not fit all, I pick the systems that fit me, but this in no way should suggest that the choices any one else makes are not both good and valid
A twenty minute 5K is not much slower than an Elite pace. How fast are your miles now? Yeara ago I ran regularly (YEARS AGO...), and even though I was thin and could run 1/2 Marathons (11 minute miles), the fastest mile I EVER ran was 8 minutes and change- and that was in isolation, not a whole 5K.
Be careful or you may hurt yourself if you push too hard too fast.

hey everbody just wanted to introduce myself im 22 and 163 lbs and i want to try to shuck that down to 130 by the end of the year. my other goal is to run a 5k this year in under 20 min. i started with a bang today and im hoping all of you can keep me accountable to myself and also to stay on track!! heres to changing your lifestyle!!
