I am new to this team, my name is Cheryl. I am currently living in Northeast Pennsylvania (Lehigh Valley) but I am originally from Wisconsin. I have been married for about 3 1/2 years, no kids. I have 2 1/2 year old Bernese Mountain Dog named Ruby and 2 cats named Tigger and Gargamel, that are almost 8 years old. I love reading, playing video games, board games and card games. I also love going for walks with the husband and our dog. I love playing in the snow, ice-fishing, snowmobiling, sledding, tubing, skiing. I haven't been able to enjoy any snow sports this year though! In the summer I like to go fishing, swimming and water skiing. I have been a member of spark since the end of January.
I have so many cooks books fully of these great and extremely complicated recipes. A lot of times these recipes are too big for just me and my husband. I am weird and I do not like to eat leftovers. So most of the time I end up halving the recipe and usually screw it up. So I am really just looking for some tips and tricks for a fairly inexperienced cook.
