Hi Gaelcitalian..............Great to have you with us . yes it is hard to cook for only one . Think of what the two of you like to eat . Modify the recipes taking out some of the fat and adding vegetables and using less red meat . You want to fill the plates with less . salt and sugars adding spices to use in place of these . use smaller plates so that less looks like more .
I started sparkpeople a week ago, my boyfriend hasn't joined, but is also wanting to lose weight. It's hard for me to cook for only two people, I've always cooked for several people, and when I cook more I tend to try to eat more so that there aren't leftovers.
