welcome!
wheat hides in so many things..it's a long journey.

melina, it's the same with me. i occasionally eat rice or quinoa, but other than that, i avoid grains (including corn). i feel a LOT better, but MAN is it hard to eat out safely.

Hi!

I had major improvements after eliminating grains entirely. Once in a while I will eat rice but not often..My body just does not process grains well. Period. Any of them.

Everything that is now easy was once hard.

Working on untying my self worth from my success or struggles

emoticon emoticon Wheat is not only in your food it is also in your cleaning products for your body and lotions too along with the toothpaste, so you are going to have to read all labels

Hello all,

I am Becky and trying really hard to be gluten and wheat free. I have been having gut issues since just before and after my gall bladder removal. I have been wheat free since August 1st and I was doing better (my gas was so bad I was leaving trails in public and smells lingered in sheets....you get the pics) then out of the blue poof the gas was back again. I when to a gi almost 2wks ago. He said I was doing right by being wheat and diary free. I had to add align to my daily routine. If no improvement I have to take flagyl for 2wks. If still no relief then I have to get tested for Celiac Disease.

I am doing my best, but I need to track better to see where the wheat is sneaking into my life style.

In meantime, I am training run about 9 miles a week. I average about 15minutes a mile. I know slow, but it works for me ^_~ I dream of running Disney's Princess 1/2thon 2015.

I have 3 kids all in school and a hard working dh. I am a SAHM and super busy. Busier than I thought I would be when I got all the kids in school. Holy Cow am I busy.

I am open to suggestions and tips.

PS ~ I started out at 201 and have about 18lbs to go.
