I have done that too. Even if you check it on-line it still may not have all the ingredients listed

I had eaten the grilled chicken and waffle fries at Chic-fil-a and had no problems. I will check before I eat out again. I really should not be eating in those places anyway but hubby loves to go and he has no health problems or weight issues either. Bad influence, huh?

A goal is not enough - You have to have a plan.

You have not failed until you fail to try.

I'm sorry you're dealing with a reaction. Yes, Wendy's fries have gluten in them, I learned the hard way myself. I thought they were safe and had some and boy did I get sick, and they used to be my favorite fries. I know there are some people that eat them without a problem but not me.

Barb, the french fries probably had gluten coating on them that helps make them brown and crisp.

Was running late last night and decided to stop Wendy's. Did not check out what was considered gluten free but I assumed I knew. You know what they say about assume. I ordered a grilled chicken with extra lettuce and tomato and fries. About an hour later, I started stomach problems and I rumbled all night with terrible bloating even today. I am thinking it was the fries. Finally looked it up on the internet and they do not list fries as gluten free. Probably because of using the same fryer for other things, right? I have only been on this two weeks and digestive problem have improved immensely, but last night was a setback..
