emoticon emoticon Hang in there. Keep thinking positive. start with some breathing exercises and some stretches that will help you with some pain. I am doing physical therapy for my Pelvic pain.

Hi and welcome to the team. Can you sit in a chair like a sofa? If so then get one of those peddle things that you can use while sitting you don't even have to have weight on it. Just peddle and you can also use it for your arms too. I used them when I had to go to cardio-pulminary rehab because my lupus caused me to loose lung function. It will make you tired and you can also up the tensions when your body gets used to that.

My name is Shelley. I design and make miniature teddy bears, jewelry and knitted bags. I also teach what I do. I love my job, but in that last few years multiple serious health issues have made it nearly impossible to do my job without excruciating pain. I suffer from chronic nerve pain very like fibromyalgia. All of my health problems are exacerbated by my weight problems. Due to my pain, most days I have limited mobility. Regular exercise is impossible for me. Some days a walk from my bed to the bathroom is all I can manage. I have decided to try SparkPeople to help me lose weight. There will be days when the pain makes it impossible for me to sit up to the computer but with a little bit of luck, most days I hope to be able to participate. I thank you all for your support on this shared journey towards better health.
