Good morning! This is my first day going GF, my daughter and I both have to do the GF lifestyle now and see if it helps our laundry list of medical problems. We are truly hoping that this does make a difference. We did some shopping yesterday and was encouraged by the many products that are available in the stores, and of course, as I do my reading, there really is alot that we can eat. It just will take some getting used to going without the traditional bread and crackers.
Made my chicken soup today, and instead of barley, added quinoa. Not too bad if I may say so myself. I will see what my daughter says. But overall, not a big difference.
I really think this will help with the weight loss as well since we tend to overeat on the carbs anyways. time will tell. How long will it be before we Begin to notice a difference? Everyone tells us we have to give it about 6 weeks trial to see if it works, but surely we will notice an improvement before then, right?
