If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing. But when you say yes to Him, all of heaven opens to pour out His goodness and reward your obedience. What matters more than material blessings are the things He is teaching us in our spirit.

Hi. I have been GF and dairy free for 3 years now. I found almost immediate relief ( 24-48 hours) with those changes to my diet. My head was noticeably less "foggy", my digestive problems improved and I stopped having itchy skin. I have really enjoyed trying new foods and recipes and rarely miss gluten or dairy. Pizza is probably the one thing I occasionally crave. My only major disappointment is that I did not lose much weight and recently it has been climbing :(
Best of luck to you and keep the positive attitude!

Hi we have been gluten-free 4 weeks now and hubby is down over 20 pounds. He has alot of health issues so we are hoping to see results there too. I do feel better and not so draggy in mid afternoon so it seems to be helping us with our thyroid issues. emoticon

Good morning! This is my first day going GF, my daughter and I both have to do the GF lifestyle now and see if it helps our laundry list of medical problems. We are truly hoping that this does make a difference. We did some shopping yesterday and was encouraged by the many products that are available in the stores, and of course, as I do my reading, there really is alot that we can eat. It just will take some getting used to going without the traditional bread and crackers.

Made my chicken soup today, and instead of barley, added quinoa. Not too bad if I may say so myself. I will see what my daughter says. But overall, not a big difference.

I really think this will help with the weight loss as well since we tend to overeat on the carbs anyways. time will tell. How long will it be before we Begin to notice a difference? Everyone tells us we have to give it about 6 weeks trial to see if it works, but surely we will notice an improvement before then, right?

Looking forward to reading all the tips on the site and keeping in touch with the group. Lets see how the rest of the day and week goes!
