If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing. But when you say yes to Him, all of heaven opens to pour out His goodness and reward your obedience. What matters more than material blessings are the things He is teaching us in our spirit. Welcome, Robin. You're lucky your husband is supportive. Mine is now, but sure wasn't in the beginning. I think he thought this was just another "fad" of mine. Yeah, like having a totally crashed thyroid for years and years was fun either? By the way, since going GF 18 months ago, I've had my thyroid stabilize, and am more fit and able to exercise and all that good stuff. I think it's amazing how many autoimmune diseases seem to go hand in hand with gluten intolerance or celiac. You've come to a good place for imfo. I don't know if you eat prepackaged foods which are not labeled gluten free, but which don't say they have wheat. Well, there are hidden sources of wheat, so if it doesn't say it's GF, steer clear!!! Good luck and you can do this. It's worth it! :) Kathy

HI, New to the team. I found I needed to be gluten free back in summer of 2010. Still have a lot to learn, especially to control weight and be gf. My husband James is very suportive of this need. Robin
