Welcome, Robin. You're lucky your husband is supportive. Mine is now, but sure wasn't in the beginning. I think he thought this was just another "fad" of mine. Yeah, like having a totally crashed thyroid for years and years was fun either? By the way, since going GF 18 months ago, I've had my thyroid stabilize, and am more fit and able to exercise and all that good stuff.
I think it's amazing how many autoimmune diseases seem to go hand in hand with gluten intolerance or celiac.
You've come to a good place for imfo. I don't know if you eat prepackaged foods which are not labeled gluten free, but which don't say they have wheat. Well, there are hidden sources of wheat, so if it doesn't say it's GF, steer clear!!!
