Hi Tyrailia, Welcome to the group. Sounds like you can be a real asset to help people find answers to their questions.
Carrissa, I am glad that yu finaly started the food elimination diet. I know that we have talked about it. It is helpful in finding the food triggers to your headaches.

Hello! I'm Charissa. I have also been a member of the group for awhile, but haven't been active for a couple of months. I haven't been diagnosed with anything, but I have terrible daily headaches, and nothing has helped, so I guess that only leaves food triggers. Which makes sense, I don't know why it wasn't suggested to me before, or why I didn't think of it. So I started an elimination diet on Monday, and February 1st I am going to start adding stuff back in and see what happens.

Sounds like you have a lot of knowledge about being GF. How wonderful! I never heard of GIG before and did a search, there is a local group near me - how exciting. Thanks.

I am Tyrailia. I have been a member of this team for quite a while just not vocal.
I am the branch manager of the Gulf Coast TX GIG branch. We have been in existance for almost 11 years and our group has grown from 12 people to close to 200 in that time. I love running the support group and being a part of GIG.
I joined spark people out of curiosity a while back and just really got serious about dropping the 25 pounds I gained since going GF, stopping smoking, 2 knee surgeries and a hysterectemy.
So, Nice to be here and have you guys as teammates.
