Hey Nat, welcome aboard! My advice is to go discover new foods instead of trying to find "replacements" for standby old favorites. I am amazed at how limited my eating habits were when I could eat gluten, I ate the same old boring things all the time. Once I had to look outside the box, I discovered a whole new world of REAL food out there and I'm pretty sure I'm a better cook now too because I had to learn new better ways of feeding myself. Hey All! A new friend of mine-sistahkat :)- referred me to this team as I'm kind of in the same boat as she is. I'm trying out gluten free for two weeks to see if it will aid me in my battle against binge eating that's had me in it's clutches since I was a kid. I believe that this is the way for me to go & I hope it works because it makes a lot of sense. I recently found out that my husband and his mother have adverse reactions to types of gluten so I'm trying to educate them as well. I'll be researching & asking a ton of questions so look out! As with all the SP teams, I know that this one will be a great one & I'm happy to be a part of it. Any advice for a brand newbie to GF living is greatly appreciated - books, websites, anything - pass it on to me.
