Welcome! Slow and easy you must be. Do 99% of what your doctor say because I know me 1% I have to see if I can get away with something. Do like me if stopping by the huddle room then go there until you feel like doing more. Glad you are here.

thanks Olivia and Jamaicatrip for the warm welcomes :)
Welcome to the Team!!! Take it slow, don't put a timetable to the healing process. Your body will tell you when you are ready for activity....
My heart goes out to you in all that you have been through. I think that youreally have to take it easy and let yourself heal from the surgeries. I had my hysterectomy back in July of 2002 and bladder surgery in October of 2008, so I have an idea of some of what you have been through.
We are here to support you and we welcome you to the team. It has been quiet around here but we are pushing to have a great team.
We don't want you doing anything until you have healed. You do not want to have to have any of those surgeries done again.
I'm a cry baby also and can't stand to see someone cry. Year ago when I was younger and my Mom was alive I went to a funeral of a friend of hers. We didn't know anyone there other than her friend, but one person was crying aloud and my Mom and I started to cry so hard. When we left there we were laughing and crying at the same time because we felt bad, but we felt silly that we were so emotional.
Any who, reach out at anytime.
Greater Is She That Is In Me!
hi..i am fairly new to the group.. i had my hysterectomy March 9, 2009 and at the same time had repairs for a cystocele (prolapsing bladder) and a rectocele (prolapsing rectum)...
well the rectocele was a lot worse than the gyn realized so i had to have a colon-rectal doctor repair it this year and he also repaired my anal sphincter muscles ( i had trouble with bowel incontinence..very very embarrassing... i have had an accident right in the middle of Walgreen's before..wearing blue pants that showed right through!!! argh!)
so i just had this most recent surgery March 11th of this year....
i am 41 years old and have three boys.... they say it is because of pregnancy and childbirth that i had these problems with my sphincter muscles and stuff.....
the recent surgery i had was called an overlapping sphincteroplasty ....and a rectocele repair....
i still have stitches! over 8 weeks later!
me and my poor hubby have not been able to have sex yet... i am finally cleared for it but have still been in too much pain....
but i really miss the closeness....
i am still not able to lift more than 10 pounds and not able to do yoga......
my hubby and one of my sons have been doing all the chores.....
my hubby has a friend coming to stay with us this weekend.....he lost his father about a year ago now and he and his mother and brother are coming to scatter the ashes in the ocean... so we will be going with him... i have never met his father..so i feel a little out of place but will be there to support him and my husband......
i think we are going out on a deep sea boat.....
i just hope his mother handles things okay..she has apparently been doing really badly... i cry whenever somebody else does...so i predict that even though i didn't know the dad/husband..i will be a mess...
i can barely imagine what she has been going through..they were married a long time...
okay i have totally gotten off topic.. i tend to do that...i am a big blabbermouth... :)
hugs to all!
