I had my hysterectomy in 7/2002 and I have put on more then 50 pounds. Together we can work on how to be healthy.

Being positive and understanding your bodies needs is half the battle. The other half is doing something about it.

Hello Everyone,

I had my hysterectomy in Oct 2009 and I am struggling to loose weight. I have always had a weight problem but now my stomach is so big. I found this team and I hope I can get some encouragement to move forward on my journey.

Hi !

I had my's over 25 year and my start going up up and up then. I just wish I would have had a place to run to where you were free to talk about like now plus a Doctor who would have told me a gain the weigh. I love my life after the hysterectomy I have a great sex life, everyday is a good day with the monthly friend it just that I have to workout more and eat less. I've lost and kept it of except for the 20 I gain over the past 3 month went I got sick was put on a med that could me to gain. Best to you sister we are here with you.

Welcome to the team, I had my hyster almost two years ago.

I've not had any bad effects from it thus far (not counting the cuff infection I got 24 hours after it happened).

I've not gained any weight since it took place, just had a stable weight for about a year before my body kicked itself and the weight started moving down again (since hyster I've lost 7 pounds and kept it off).

Hi all - I joined this group because I am looking for support. just 3 weeks ago I had a hytsterectomy and am still healing from it. I have had weight issues for many years and have used SP before but it has been a while.

I am finding out about what risk factors I now face after a hysterectomy.
