my weight gain was due to complications that left me debilitated and unable to barely walk, lay, sit without pain, so thanfully it has diminished enough that I can begin working out, although it does get aggrivated, it is bearable..
I wonder what challenges we face if they say over 40 is harder to lose weight, than how much more of a challenge do we face and what can we do about it being over 40 and had hysterectomy?
Just had my surgery on May 12, 2008. Had a total LAVH/BSO and so far have not gained any weight, but need to lose 20 to 25 pounds that I have gained in the last 2 years. I had already been going through menopause for 2 years when I had my surgery, but the doctor still put me on HRT for the time being.
