I had my surgery a week before Thanksgiving,I was walking a week after surgery. You do go stir crazy but I was back to work after a month. I just got released recently from the doctor so I can do my kickboxing now. So back on track again.

Hello,
I just had my hysterectomy on Valentine's Day ( emoticon ). Everything went fine and I am doing fine, getting a little stir-crazy though. My mom is here with me but she is leaving on Thursday. Then I will be on my on. Sure is going to miss her cooking and taking care of me emoticon

Haven't had much weight gain yet but it's only been a couple of weeks. And I still have 4 more weeks to go before I'm released from the doctor. Even then I won't be able to do a lot of strenuous exercise. But I will be able to continue walking. Just being more active, eating my fruits and veggies, and drinking my water will help.

Hi
I was on HRT to, but got off. It can cause heart problems and all kinds of other stuff. I was on it for about 5 months and got of to fast. Now i have heart issues. I have to take beta blockers to keep my heart rate down. So I went back on it for a month and weaned myself off the right way. You aren't suppose to go cold turkey. Now I have tacardia ... which is a rapid heart rate. Last march had a bad attack and thought i was having a heart attack and went to the hospital in the ambulance with a heart rate of 160.. not good, thought I was a goner. I still get attacks every so often and it is real scarey. I have to take anxiety pills as well because I get perinoide now.
Those HRT/s are are bad .. synthic hormones. If your interested I can send you some info on it and get yourself off of it as soon as you can. It can also cause cancer. Bad stuff.
I take flaxseed oil tabs and fiber and vitamins ane it helps with the hotflashes. Much better for you. Do the natural hormones.. This artical will help you if your interesed. Her name is Dr. Pansanti .. she is a gyni... emoticon we ever so careful

I had my hysterectomy in Jan of 2006

Hello Girls

I am 46 years old and had a total hysterectomy in April 2007. Went from size 8 to 14. I have gained 26 pounds and hoping to lose it. I am on HRT Vivelle Dot 0.1. Hopefully with support we can beat this thing together.
