I know exactly what your going through. I too gained more then 60 pounds since my hysterectomy in 2002. You have to change your diet and get exercise in order to gret that scale to move. I also found that I only get the hot flashes right after I eat something. As a result, I have added more soy products to my diet. Silk soy milk and Boca burgers don't produce the hot flashes. If I eat other types of carbs I notice that I get the flashes bad.......in any event, I'm here for you if you ever want to talk.
Greater Is She That Is In Me!
Hi everyone, I'm 33 and just had a full hysterectomy (ovaries and all) in Oct. I had a really hard time for years before surgery, and am not having any luck with my hormone replacement therapy. I've gained 35 lbs. since with help from progesterone...sigh. BUT, I'm here to lose weight, stay positive and maybe find some support when I don't think I can!
