Hi, Age is relative--it is true that you are only as old as you "feel"-50 was a big one for me, but only because my husband insisted on telling people we were over a half-century old. I had my youngest child the year I turned 40. He is now 16. My oldest son just came to the realization that he is on the twenty something side nearer to 30 than teens and I was there to see his face when it hit him. He chuckled a bit when he realized it. He is still a baby to me. It is all relative. Welcome to the group. Your best years are still way ahead of you--right Linda?

Hi there. My name is Lynn. I am 41 YIKES. Not handling that well. Since moving to Georgia from Nebraska four years ago, I have gained about 50 pounds. Another YIKES! I blame it on the humidity and say my body is a big sponge. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Can't be my fault. I have recently bought a treadmill and have been walking 1 mile each night for the past week. Next week I will increase it to 2 miles and so on. I used to walk 5 miles a day back in Nebraska. That probably explains the weight gain since moving to GA, huh? I look forward to meeting all of you and finding my way around this site.
