Hi everyone, I've been in this group for a while but I'm just starting the c25k now. OK actually, I've started it like 5 times, but this time I'm really going to follow through and finish. I'm signed up for a 5k Color Run in July, so I really need to finish lol.
Today was my first day and I actually started with week 2, since I've done week 1 so many times in the past. I felt pretty good and managed the whole thing, so I'm pleasantly surprised. My run is more like a slog, but whatever it takes!
My troubles mostly come from shin pain rather than like gasping for air and losing my breath. I know I should eventually get fitted for sneakers, but for now I've found that going slow and stretching my shins has really helped.
Hoping to get to know everyone, and hoping that since it's May 1st, maybe some other people decided today would be a good day to start as well, so we'll be at similar stages.
