Hello! I'm new to spark and this forum, but not new to running. I am currently training for a 1/2 marathon in early may. I joined spark for some motivation and to lose 10 lbs prior to the marathon. Running makes me happy! *peace*love*run*
Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Dale and I am fairly new to the sport of running. I started back in October doing walk/run intervals and am running three days a week. Almost up to running three miles completely. Right now I only need to stop and walk 2 -4 times and only for 1 min at a time. So for me that is progress!
I am competing in my first 5k in March. My goal for this race is to not come in last and to run the whole distance. That would make me happy at this point in my progress. :)
Anyway, I look forward to getting to know the team.
