Hi! I am 58 years old (for a little while!) and I have a lot of weight to lose. I have been overweight for almost all of my life, and I have never been successful at losing. This time is going to be different!
I'm using every tool I can get my hands on, and reaching out on this and other sites for help from folks who share my goals of eating healthier and moving more.
More specifically, in the short term, I have set a weight loss goal of just 19 pounds to start with. This week, I am working on getting my steps up to over 1000 a day average, and keeping a food diary for the very first time.
I know that I have a very long way to go, but I need to focus on small goals that I can succeed at in a short time.
I live in Northeast Richland County.
