Welcome, glad to see another new face. There's lots of motivation around Spark. Check out some of the teams with the same interests as yours. Chuck is right about some of the active members on this team. If you like to run/walk keep an eye out for upcoming races. Several of us have met that way.

Welcome to the group. You will find people in this group with various interest but with a common goal of good nutrition and fitness.. There are many that are runners, walkers, bicyclist, hikers, gym rats...etc. There are many threads of conversations that cover many subjects. I would suggest reading through several of them to get an idea. Glad you are posting/starting a thread. Some of us are more outspoken and post more than others but we do get a lot of participation. Good luck with your goals and chime in often.
Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it's a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they're terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul
