Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it's a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they're terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul
Hi! My name is Sherrey. I was born and raised in Nashville, TN, but met this really wonderful guy from Sunnyside, WA about 29 years ago. Shortly after we married we moved to Portland, and I've never been happier. I love it here.
My goal is to lose 50 lbs., and I am sooooo determined this time. I've yo yo'd around diets all my life, but now at 64, health and fitness, not to mention longevity, have my attention. It's never to late to start. I'm on day two and hampered only by a hamstring injury (caused by a friendly physical therapist).
Glad to find this team! It makes me feel good knowing others are out there working to achieve a goal too.

The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy or too impatient. Patience, patience, patience is what the sea teaches. Patience and faith. ~~ Ann Morrow Lindbergh
