You can add another snack to your nutrition page. In between the Snack Totals and the day's Totals is:
"Click To Add/Edit Extra Meals"

That's a hyperlink. Click on it and create away!

Also, maybe you just need more food than you think at meals. Some folks feel better and even lose more weight eating at the top of their calorie range.

On your Fitness page, notice how many calories you're burning in a week. Click on the Change Fitness Goals near the top of the page. Near the bottom of the Edit page, insert the number of calories you burned last week, for example. When you Save, that will reset your calories to your activity level.

Don't worry, we're all different and it just takes some tweaking.

Oh, and if I do end up going over my calories for some reason, I make sure to burn that many extra for the week.

At least I can watch TV WHILE I'm on the Elliptical! :)

I know now that I need to have a couple of snacks throughout the day, so I plan for them, and cut the calories in my other meals accordingly.

Whatever you do, good luck on it!

Don't give up. There is a lot of information here on eating and snacking, and also teams that would help with your situation. Check them out. I eat a lot through out the day but my taste buds have learned to really like fruits and veggies instead of chips and candy. I look forward to getting to know you. And welcome to the team!

Make sure you're eating enough protein and fiber, that helps me stay full longer.

Hello...I joined SparkPeople several months ago, but I wasn't logging in at all until just a few days ago. I'm trying to make some changes, but I'm finding it challenging. I know the right foods to eat (and what to avoid), my portion control is good during meals. My problem is that I'm really getting hungry between meals and later in the evening.

I guess I need to stock up on low calorie snacks like carrots and celery.

Trying again today.
