Welcome to the group. It is a great site to gather information to help yourself. I feel it is important to keep the nutrition log and fitness log. Both are great visuals of what you are eating and how much activity you are doing. I have tried relying on my memory but it doesn't work..I need to write it down. The nutrition log is especially helpful because if you eat something that drastically throws your calories off you can alter what you east next time.
