I am sure the differences are enormous! But the great thing is that you are already of the mindset that "a little rain won't hurt me" so that should help when dealing with the wet weather and trying to get exercise! And on the fall/winter/spring days when it doesn't rain, you gotta get out and enjoy it! We went up the Gorge yesterday, just to see the re-opened Oneonta Gorge tunnel. Nothing fancy, just an excuse to get out and enjoythe sunshine!

Welcome to the team! I understand that Oregon is much different than California (I moved here in 2006 from SF), but then I remember that it's cheaper too :-)

This is my first time being on Spark, but I'm not new to trying to live a healthy lifestyle. I do find it harder to do living in Oregon than when I did in California. I just have to make more of an effort here. I'm back to eating healthy and got my SO on board with that, too. I am also taking walked on most days and doing the elliptical, and core DVDs. So far, I feel much better and am moving forward in a positive direction.
