You are doing great! I am glad that you decided to join in and introduce yourself to us all. You have a wonderful attitude, a realistic set of goals, and a realistic way to achieve them.
I find that I have to get my exercise in first thing in the morning. I'm a morning person, so hitting the gym after work just doesn't work for me. For others, they have to do it after work because of kids, or being night owls. Maybe if you find the right time of day to exercise you will find it easier to get it done.
I've been an SP member for a few years and have had a number of failed attempts to get a routine going, but it's been over a month and I still seem to be doing okay. So... seemed like a good time to introduce myself, right?
I'm determined to lose 50 lbs in 2009 - one pound per week the whole year (give or take a week or two). So far so good - 8 lbs down, 42 left to go! Am using the SP meal plans (and loving it), and am trying to do cardio 45 minutes 3 times a week and strength training right afterward. I seem to be doing well with nutrition, but I have a hard time keeping up with my exercise goals.
