You will love Portland. As long as you are ok with rain.....lol.
I just moved out of Portland in late June so my husband could start a new type of work(he was unable to get in that type of work in Portland, and Idaho, it was easy). Now that he is in this new union, we plan on moving back home to Portland this spring when he can get a job transfer. Gosh, I miss my friends and family there so much. I don't miss the rain, but I miss the green trees.
Good luck with your weight loss, and hope to get to know you better.
I'm relocating to Portland at the end of February with my family. I'm a 33 year old mom to a great 4 year old boy. My boyfriend's job search took about 4 months, and I pretty much ate my way through it! Looking forward to Portland's farmers markets and many hiking trails...hopefully I can knock off the 10-15 pounds I've managed to "collect".
