MYBETRSIDE I also would like to give you a hand for the 5:30am. I am also hoping to start working with a personal trainer around the middle of April. I know its a ways away but those trainers aren't cheap.lol

I know what you mean about emotional and stress eating! I am a major culprit! I am definitely glad to have found spark and learn that it's just food. It tastes good but it's JUST food. I use it to give me energy and fuel my other passions.
MUSCLE DOES NOT WEIGH MORE THAN FAT 5 lbs = 5 lbs
5 lbs of muscle simply takes up less space than 5 lbs of fat!
If nothing tasted as good as being thin felt, no one would ever get fat!
I'm mid 40's and working on coming back from a series of injuries which I used as an excuse to eat lots! I live about 3 miles from the Clackamas Town Center. Have a 2nd grader.
I've spent the last 3 months doing a wonderful 5:30 a.m. exercise class with a local personal trainer and I'm amazed at how my body has developed muscles again - it's been way too long. I've worked very hard and I'm proud of myself for that! I was doing this 5 mornings a week but for the new year I'm switching to 3 days a week with the plan of starting to up my cardio on other days.
Now it's time to work on my food. I eat for emotion & stress, I eat when I'm bored... I weigh far more than I should.
