Welcome to the group. I know how you feel about interacting with adults. I have been unemployed since November and I do not have any adult conversations until hubby gets home. Even then he isn't that much of a conversationalist. I would love to be friends if you are up to it. Make sure you take advantage of all the tools that are available. Remember we are here to cheer you on during your weight loss journey.

(¯`♥´¯) .♥.*¨`*♫.♥ .´*.¸.´♥ Welcome to Spark People!
One thing I would suggest is: Keep collecting Spark Friends like candy!! It is calorie free and they always give you something to "chew on"!!
You can just "friend" them...no need to ask. We are friendly and don't bite!
You can find motivation and inspiration from everyone here, even those that are struggling (because you know how they feel!!) Welcome new people, Join teams, blog, join challenges, blog, be excited, blog. And did I mention: blog? The future fabulous you will want to look back at your journey and will want to encourage others!! When the excitement wanes (it WILL!!) put down your pom poms and lurk in the background, (but don't leave and don't do too much damage) and wait for the tide to turn...pick up your oars and keep rowing.
You can do this!!
Change takes time. It takes time for the seeds to begin growing within, time to understand the process, time for the growth to mature, and time for the old self to die and fall away. -Bryant McGill

Hello! My name is Stacy and I am a 42 year old stay at home Mom. My husband, daughter and I live in an apartment in Strongsville. I also have two older daughters (20 and 21) I worked full time as a single mom with my older girls and now I am enjoying being able to spend time with my little one.
The problem is, I don't have any friends and very little adult interaction other then the normal 5 minute conversation with my hubby when he gets home from work. I could REALLY use some friends. My father passed away 12 years ago and in the past twelve years I have put on 100 lbs that I am desperate to lose. I am very self concious of my weight and it has taken a serious toll on my self esteem.
I look forward to getting to know each of you!
