Welcome, Stephanie! We are a small but intimate team. By that, I mean - personally speaking - that we care about each other, as evidenced by SP communications, even though most of us have never met. A group of us do try to get together occasionally for walks and camaraderie. I go to the Central Y, too. My schedule is not routine, but I would love to meet you there sometime. Hello, I am new to SparkPeople and looking for support. I've lived in Winston Salem for about 20 years and I'd like to lose 100lbs. I'm currently enrolled in the Transformation Nation Triad, but it has been a disappointment. I was hoping to find some diet buddies, people who to talk to who understand the pain and how hard it is to lose a large amount of weight, but the people in my group just have not connected. We're getting to the end of the program and out of 25 only 4 other people regularly show up. I don't need someone to exercise with as I have a good exercise routine at the Central Y and do some sort of exercise, mainly swimming every day, but I really want a buddy, someone to talk to. What is the best way to find friends on this site?
