moved to ABQ from Ohio last fall. i had been working two sit-down jobs (60 hrs+ a week) and gained weight. now i am doing Couch to 5k and my goal is to be able to run the 5k for the Duke City 5k, and run the Run for the Zoo 5k competitively next year. i'm on week 3 and i've already seen an 8 lb loss. i'm doing it inside on an elliptical at the moment, but would be very interested in some running buddies for the streets once i get into better shape!
