Greetings, Chiautla, and welcome to Spark! It's amazing, isn't it, how something as simple as tracking food intake can make a world of difference. I agree with your sentiment about being tired of: being tired; being stressed and frustrated; having such low self-esteem that you hurt yourself. But now, thanks to a wonderful doctor and the referral to Spark, you are well on the way to finding new and better tools to change your life and your mindset. To me, that's the hardest thing, to change how you talk to yourself. You have to love who you are NOW, and realize that making small changes will add up to a better, healthier you. Simply tired of being in the obese category, tired of being tired, tired of having low self esteem, lack of motivation, stressed out and frustrated. All of that is changing now thanks to a referral to SparkPeople from my nutritionist. What a difference!! Didn't even realize that my caloric intake was around 2800 on average and have already lost 9 pounds just due to tracking and making wiser choices. There is a long way to go still but I'm excited about the positive changes I'm making in my lifestyle and optimistic about reaching my goal of losing a total of 67 pounds.
